Fazlul Huque's passing in 2024, the Banglar Bagh Foundation launched a 1-week humanitarian program from 27th April, 2024, to 3rd May, 2024 in Barishal City Corporation. This initiative aimed to honor his ideals of public service and compassion by supporting vulnerable individuals during extreme heat waves.
Our Mission: To provide relief and assistance to those most affected by severe heat conditions, ensuring access to basic necessities like hydration and protection from the sun.
What We Did- Distributed saline and clean, cold drinking water to vulnerable individuals and onlookers.
- Provided caps to offer protection from the scorching heat.
- Raised awareness about heat-related illnesses and preventive measures
Our Impact: Through this initiative, we extended a helping hand to those in need, upholding the humanitarian values of Sher-E-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Huque. The program successfully alleviated the effects of the heatwave, demonstrating our commitment to community welfare.
